Friday Finish - Beaded Glass Ornament

Last evening was very strange.  After getting home from work, I heard rain hitting the window and when I looked out, saw it was raining cats and dogs.  A while later as I was stitching, I felt shaking for what seemed like a long time.  I looked it up on the JMA website and saw it was a pretty good earthquake.  Only a 2 where I live, but much stronger in the Tokyo area.

On to my stitching finish - one beaded ornament.

Beautiful beaded ornament.
That shaking gives you a start doesn't it. I hope all was OK in the Tokyo area.

The earthquake last night was scary. Theplace where I live is 200㎞ away from the epicenter. I was afraid of shaking even at a seismic intensity of 2.

The beaded decoration in my house is Christmas color. After receiving the present,I decorate is for Christmas. This year I will take a pictures and send it by email.🙋

It WAS scary to be in Tokyo last night! I dived for my safety helmet and took shelter under a sturdy desk. Kitchen drawers flung open, I heard china toppling over inside the cabinets, but luckily nothing fell out as we have strong safety snaps on the doors.
I felt very sorry for the people who were stranded on trains and elevators, and am happy to hear there were so few injuries.

PS. I forgot to say that your beaded ornament is beautiful, the shape and size of the net is so even.

I saw that Saitama, which is just down the street from where I live had a higher intensity than the epicenter in Chiba. Only change to the household was the grandfather clock stopped (my criteria for a "big" one). Lovely beading. At least they were held in place by thread.

Earthquakes are not fun. It sounds like it was much worse for your friends in It is never nice when your home starts shaking around you!

Your beaded ornament is lovely.
