They are so interesting. We had one that moved back and forth for 3 days along a short section of our wall.
Its name is "Kamakiri". It's a popular bug in Japan. He has "sickles" equal "kama". "kiri" means "cut".
Mantis is about to visit your home. Mantis curiosity? Unfortunately the mantis made a mistake.
Advice to mantis.
“You should flap your wings and visit the grass”.
I couldn't agree more!
I'm sure it would have come in for just a very short visit.
Pamela: I love Praying Mantis, they are a wonder to hold in my hand, I love looking at their eyes and they look back.
Catherine
Beautiful creature, probably happier outside anyway!
Nice mantis! I'm sure "outside" would be better for him than "inside".
Wow, that's a big one! As fascinating as I find bugs, I wouldn't want it inside, either.
That is an elegant looking mantis.
