Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign

The Kyoto National Museum was on our list of places to visit, but when we arrived we found out it was being renovated and was closed until next year.  The only thing open was the gift shop. Where does it say that on the sign?

This sign was in the subway.  I think it says drink as much as you want if you are not driving and you can take the subway home.

There were a lot of steps to climb going into and out of the subway.  This was helpful in letting you know how many kcalories you burned while doing it.

This was at the Aquarium and says Caution!  Water Splashes!

This probably says something like please excuse the construction.  Everyone bows here, even the stick people on signs.

There were signs all over Okinawa about what to do in case of Tsunami.

There was one section of Kukasai Dori where smoking was not allowed.

This park did not allow dogs to poop.

This sign was at the beach.  It looks like children, dogs, and smoking are not allowed.

This one is self explanatory.

This one says crabs are not allowed to smoke.

I guess these bike riders are illiterate, too.

Aren't the signs hilarious? I enjoyed them too when I lived there but I would have thought they could have found a proof reader in the last 33 years!
