New Year Stitching

The stitch group met last Sunday, the first time in the new year.  First we had some show and tell from our last project - the finished felt wrist pincushions.

This session's project was a fob made with a piece of ribbon and the beaded edging technique.

This is a photo of our mostly finished fobs, to be finished at home.

As it was the new year, our hostess made the traditional new year food with mochi and sweet beans.  Oishii!

Happy new year of stitching together! I love seeing what your group make. Do they know that people all over the word are enjoying their stitching?

Your ladies are so talented, they've made such a nice collection of felt pincushions.

Your students are quick learners and have made so many things since you started this group. Here we have a set of beautiful wristband pincushions and fobs.

So nice to have the group continue to meet in the new year. I should think about using a wrist pincushion. I keep misplacing the needle while working on my present project. Good thing I have a strong flashlight.

Oh, those fobs look great. I love how you are making things you can actually use in your crafting sessions!
