That was beautiful! Thanks, Pamela. I was wishing I had a way to slow it down to quarter speed (or less) so I could read the caption and still have time to savor the beautiful scenery.
No clue how many of those prefectures I've been to since we traveled so much of the country while living there during my childhood. Your count sure is impressive though!
This was a great treat for someone who is currently an armchair traveler.
I've been to Shiga, Hiroshima, Yamagata, Kyoto, and wherever Tokyo is -- is that its own prefecture or are they just marking it on the map as part of Chiga. And I think Kanagawa. I'll have to ask Rick. And watch the video, too!
its all so peaceful and beautiful. When I was younger and times were different I would have loved to visit many places overseas, but I always said I wanted to see my own country first. Sadly I never had that opportunity, though I did see a lot on our travel to our new home. Perhaps times will change again and I will see more of this beauty in the west of my own country. xx, Carol
After reading all of your earlier blog post, I'd really like to visit Hokkaido someday (although not in the winter). I also want to go to the complete opposite side and visit Okinawa!

That was lovely, I would like to visit most places, although I am not that keen on big cities.
I want to go so bad T_T Still depressed over having to cancel my trip.
