The Japanese seem to like unusual (to me) flavoured things!
It sounds interesting, anyway. Worth a taste once.
Quite a lot of the umeboshi flavoured snacks, drinks and chewing gums are sweet and the tartiness is just an accent. I used to buy umeboshi chewing gum, but haven't seen it in a while now.
Worth a try, I love your flavoured Kit Kats,.
I would have NO idea what this tasted like!
I tried one of these plums once and it was intense! Mixed with something else, like popcorn flavour (presumable a little sweetened too?) I can imagine it being good, though.
