Throwback Thursday

This is a look back on what I wrote about  on January 14th since coming to Japan. (Click on the year to see more photos and the full post.)

I wrote about my new year trip to Kyoto.

I wrote about that year's temperature quilt and showed the progress to date.

I went to lunch with my friend Ayako.

I wrote about going to the movies with a newly broken arm while on vacation in Okinawa.

I wrote about day 6 of my Kumano Kodo trip.

This post was about starting a new miniature stitching

I wrote about a driving tour in Bali.

This post was about the UNESCO sites I visited on that year's holiday trip.

This post was about a trip to the shopping mall on a snowy day.

It's hard to believe I've been in Japan over nine years now! I do enjoy looking back on my posts and remembering from time to time.

Pamela: What a fun look back.
Do you ever plan to get back to your home country? just curious, the older I get the more curious I get.

I really enjoy your look-back posts! Such fun (and many from before we "met." Congratulations on nine years in Japan. I feel bad for my cousin Jack who had been teaching English in China for the past eight but after we kicked out a bunch of Chinese people, they retaliated, even though Jack had a few years left on his visa. I can see why you love Japan -- it's a beautiful and fascinating country.

Wow, nine years, and so many different memories! Do you think you'll ever live anywhere else but Japan now?
