That sign reminds me of the danger roller bags. Once, at a station with very long escalators, a guy got on at the top with a large bag, and let go of it to mess with his cell phone. The bag took off and started sliding down toward the bottom, picking up speed as it went, and wiped out people at the bottom. Luckily, none of those who fell got caught in the moving stairs, as people getting on the up-side rushed to rescue them, but it was quite scary
