Pamela: A very sad day in history for all, it breaks my heart that so many lives were lost in the war.
This must have been an amazing building in its time.
Thank-you for sharing a bit of history.

A sobering monument to a dreadful event.
I have been to this place.
A place to convey the misery of the atomic bomb and the preciousness of peace.
I don't think anyone will be happy if they win or lose in the war.
The remains of this building always leave me speechless.
Visiting that museum was one of my most profound-ever travel experiences. I will never forget it. You got some wonderful photos -- the day I was there it was raining.
Hiroshima didn't make the cut for our first trip to Japan, but if we ever come back I really wanna go there.
