I love plum blossoms. Some are like pink ballerina tutus, and others look like popcorn.
The grove is certainly splendid. Nice to see some kimonos, too. My older relatives,, though, would be shocked to see kimonos worn with high heels and bulky Western handbags.
Are there many kimono rental shops in Kanazawa? In Asakusa, they abound and are used mainly by foreign tourists who want to be 'Japanese' for a day. Pure Disneyland!
Beautiful blossom trees!
Thank-you Pamela for sharing the lovely photos, we still have bare trees.

Plum blossoms art lovely.
How was the scent?
The kimono looks it's fun to wear in the Taisho retro style.
Your timing was impeccable! Did it smell glorious? I like the women in kimono, too -- and it is so beautiful!
That's beautiful! It looks like the different tress were placed without much of a system, and yet it looks very harmonious.
