Ito Anjin Festival - Fireworks

The second night of the festival was an hour long fireworks show. The fireworks are shot off from three different locations over the water. (Everyone had forgotten about the earthquake warning the night before.) We had a good place to sit at the edge of the beach.

I LOVE fireworks but have not gone to see any for several years (too much crowding). Thanks so much for sharing photos of what you saw! I do so enjoy reading your blog.

I also LOVE fireworks but have not seen a live one for a long time. Last summer I watched the Nagaoka festival on TV. The display was very impressive.

Those look like such fun!

Fireworks are so pretty! I much prefer such an organized show over the uncoordinated launching of rockets on NYE.

Beautiful firework. Japanese fireworks have a meaning of requiem.
