Record Snow Fall Recorded This Year

Everyone is talking about the snow. They say there has been more this year than ever.  Our friend in Tokyo emailed that the record snow here for the month of January was on the television news there.  I can’t find numbers on this record – the online English version of the news is abbreviated, but I’ll continue to try to find the amount we’ve had or what the record is. Snow is not falling this minute, but I know that can change at any time.
