As we walked home we saw the start of cleaning the roof of this bus parking spot. The worker is pulling the yellow shovel up with a rope. For some reason, all this roof shoveling is fascinating to me.
This poor car still hasn’t been shoveled out. I guess its owner doesn’t have to drive anywhere.
In the evening we went to the Cello/Piano concert at the university. The cello sensei is Friederike Kienle, who is from Germany and has been teaching here several years. There were five pieces performed, with five piano students, two cello students, and with Kienle Sensei performing three pieces. To read more about her see her website: http://friederike-kienle.de/ We thoroughly enjoyed the concert. You don’t have to understand Japanese to enjoy a music concert in Japan.
