The
International Exchange Society hosted a welcome party for some new
international residents and we were fortunate to be invited. The party was held
in a new community center building with a bright shiny kitchen teaching area
with six stations in addition to the front demonstration area with a mirror
above it.
We met
some new people.
We
visited with people we already knew, both Japanese and foreign.
We learned
to make sushi. After
making it, we ate what we made.
We had
a great time and are already looking forward to the IES’s annual Mushroom Party
next month. If you are curious about what a Mushroom Party is, check out this post from last year.

A great time must have been had by all. Sushi is the ultimate fast food! Happy 'cooking', happy eating.
