I am
very pleased with this project. I like
that it’s fun to do and that I’m making something that will be useful when
done. All the different shades of blue make me happy. One of the best things about this project is
that all the fabric is coming from my stash.
I haven’t bought any new thread or fabric and I still have more I
haven’t even cut into yet. I think I’ll have enough for the whole quilt.
I’ve
completed 17 more flowers this week for a total of 80, with 25 different petal
fabrics.
In order
to free up paper hexagons to make more flowers, I’ve started putting flowers together. Here I have one big flower made up of seven little flowers. Somehow all of these
flowers are going to fit together to make a quilt top. Stay tuned….

Your big flower looks great.
I know the addiction of paper piecing, and seeing it grow is the best of rewards. Your quilt is going to be stunning and isn't it nice to know you are putting a dent in your stash, too?
Beautiful your hexie flowers.
Greetings, Manuela
