Now I
need to combine flowers to free up some paper hexagons so I can make more

The Travelers Have Returned
Ted and
his five university students returned to Hokkaido Friday night and I was at the
airport to welcome them home. When I
asked them what was their favorite thing about their trip to America, they said
everything, they couldn’t choose.
While in North Carolina they
visited the NC Natural Sciences Museum, sailed and canoed on Lake Johnson,
shopped at REI for outdoor gear, shopped at the NC Farmers’ Market, visited the
US National Whitewater Center (rock climbing, river rafting, ropes course, zip line),
visited the Nantahala Outdoor Center (rafting and kayaking), camped at Nantahala National Forest -Tsali Campground and Pisgah National Forest, rock climbed at the Chimneys in
Linville Gorge Wilderness, visited Grandfather Mountain, visited the farm of
Ted’s friends where they rode mules and had a cookout, visited NC State University and climbed on the indoor climbing wall, practiced their English
speaking skills, and made memories that will last a lifetime.
