Congratulations to the Emperor and Empress!
Congratulations to the Emperor and Empress of Japan, who celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary Friday!
After first meeting in 1986 at a reception in Tokyo for Spain's Princess Elena, they met again in 1992. They were married on June 9, 1993. Their only child, Princess Aiko was born in December 2001, and is now a fourth year university student at Gakushuin University in Tokyo.
I wish them many more happy years together.

Congratulations to this beautiful family. I have a friend named Masako, I did not know that is the Empress' name too.
The two of you are very gentle, kind and hardworking people, and they are the pride of Japan’s royal family.
princess Aiko is also a diligent and lovely princess full of humor.
I hope they are as happy together as them seem!
